Make ChartPull look like it belongs to your company. Replace the logo, change the colours, set a custom domain, and optionally remove all ChartPull branding entirely with white-label mode.
Branding customisation requires the Integrations add-on. During your 14-day trial, all workspaces have full access to branding settings.
The branding settings page at Admin > Branding gives you control over five areas of the ChartPull interface. Every change takes effect immediately and applies to all users in your workspace.
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Company name | Replaces "ChartPull" everywhere in the UI — sidebar, page titles, emails, and exported PDFs. |
| Logo | Your company logo appears in the sidebar, the header bar, the login screen, and on exported PDF reports. |
| Primary colour | Controls the colour of buttons, links, active states, and chart accent colours throughout the interface. |
| Favicon | The small icon that appears in the browser tab. Upload a square image (at least 32×32 px) and ChartPull generates all required sizes. |
| Custom domain | Serve ChartPull from your own domain, such as orgchart.yourcompany.com, instead of chartpull.com. |
Go to Admin › Branding
Open the sidebar and navigate to Admin › Branding. You will see a live preview panel on the right side of the screen that updates as you make changes.
Enter your company name
Type your company name in the "Company name" field. This replaces every instance of "ChartPull" across the interface, including email notifications and PDF exports.
Upload your logo
Click the logo upload area and select a PNG or SVG file. For best results, use a horizontal logo with a transparent background. Recommended size: 200×60 pixels or similar aspect ratio.
Choose your primary colour
Click the colour picker or enter a hex code (e.g. #4F46E5). The live preview immediately shows how buttons, links, and chart accents will look with your chosen colour.
Upload a favicon (optional)
Upload a square image (PNG, ICO, or SVG, at least 32×32 pixels). ChartPull generates all the required favicon sizes automatically. If you skip this, the default ChartPull favicon is used.
Save changes
Click "Save branding." All changes take effect immediately for every user in your workspace. There is no delay or cache to clear.
Use the live preview
The branding page includes a live preview panel that shows the sidebar, a sample org chart card, and a sample PDF header. Every change you make updates the preview in real time, so you can experiment with different colours and logos before saving.A custom domain lets your team access ChartPull at an address you control, like orgchart.yourcompany.com. This is useful for internal branding, security policies that restrict access to approved domains, and organisations that want a seamless experience for their employees.
Enter your domain
In the Custom Domain section, type the subdomain you want to use (e.g. orgchart.yourcompany.com). ChartPull validates the format and checks for conflicts.
Copy the CNAME record
ChartPull displays a CNAME record that you need to add to your DNS. It looks like: orgchart.yourcompany.com CNAME cname.chartpull.com. Copy this value.
Configure your DNS
Log in to your domain registrar or DNS provider (e.g. Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Route 53) and add the CNAME record. DNS propagation typically takes 5–30 minutes, though it can take up to 48 hours in rare cases.
Wait for SSL provisioning
Once ChartPull detects the CNAME record, it automatically provisions an SSL certificate for your domain. This usually completes within a few minutes. The status indicator on the branding page shows "Pending," "Provisioning," and then "Active."
Access your custom domain
Once the status shows "Active," your team can access ChartPull at your custom domain. The original chartpull.com URL continues to work as well, so no bookmarks or links break.
SSL is automatic
You do not need to purchase or configure an SSL certificate. ChartPull handles certificate provisioning and renewal automatically. Your custom domain is always served over HTTPS.White-label mode takes branding one step further by removing all ChartPull references from the interface. When enabled, there is no mention of ChartPull anywhere — not in the UI, not in exported files, not in notification emails.
Specifically, white-label mode removes:
Popular with consulting firms and MSPs
White-label mode is especially popular with consulting firms and managed service providers (MSPs) who resell ChartPull to their clients. Combined with a custom domain, the end users never know they are using ChartPull — it looks and feels like a product built by the consulting firm.Your branding settings are applied consistently across every touchpoint:
| Touchpoint | What changes |
|---|---|
| Sidebar | Your logo replaces the ChartPull logo at the top of the navigation sidebar. |
| Login screen | Users signing in see your logo and company name instead of ChartPull branding. |
| PDF exports | Executive reports and org chart PDFs display your logo in the header and footer. |
| PNG exports | Exported chart images use your primary colour for accents and include your logo as a watermark. |
| Email notifications | Weekly digests, trial reminders, and system emails show your company name and logo. |
| Browser tab | Your custom favicon and company name appear in the browser tab. |
| Share links | When you share an org chart via link, the shared view displays your branding. |
